BSS-Support is at present run by voluntary Directors and a very small group of our supporters to help former borders and those close to them. We provide conferences for former boarders, sponsor conferences and workshops for professionals, instigate the publication of books on the experiences of former boarders, provide links to a range of resources, publish a regular newsletter and assist research projects, in addition to answering enquiries and giving individual advice.
An annual donation of £25 (that’s just 48p a week) helps greatly to meet our costs and provide support and information to those who seek it. If you feel that is too much of a commitment, a one-off donation of any amount would be very welcome. Every penny you give goes directly to support our work.

The Bursary Fund
We would also be very happy to receive one-off or regular donations towards our Bursary Fund. Each year BSS-Support will be raising funds to help survivors attend the BSS weekends run by Nick Duffell and others, which they could not otherwise afford.
